Adaptation. This picture is from the very end of my sauna session. The last few minutes can get pretty intense. I like to keep it around 180 degrees but it was closing in on 200 when I got out. Heat shock proteins released by the body during sauna sessions can actually increase muscle mass. These sessions reduce inflammation, lower stress and have several amazing benefits for your health. I just feel better when I do them regularly too.
