While in Amsterdam, a cat museum peaked Poppy and my interest. But then we found something even better! A cat boat sanctuary for rescued kitties, most of which were feral strays saved from the streets and rehabilitated. The boat is open to the public between 1-3pm each day to show love to these beautiful creatures. Most of the cats at the sanctuary are adoptable, but only in pairs to assure utmost comfort after all they have been through! If you find yourself in Amsterdam, be sure to stop by and show some love to some very deserving cats, and spare a wee euro or two to the sanctuary so they can continue doing all the good that they do!
